Kingsway Mall Black Friday
Updated October 1, 2026
Black Friday at Kingsway Mall in north-central Edmonton. Tracking deals and the parking reality near NAIT and the Kingsway transit hub.
Kingsway Mall sits at the intersection of 109 Street and Kingsway Avenue, serving north-central Edmonton and the communities around NAIT. The mall underwent significant renovation and expansion, adding density to a corridor that already had strong transit connections and surface parking.
Black Friday at Kingsway draws a mix of neighbourhood shoppers and transit riders. The tenant list covers the standard mid-market anchors — fast fashion, footwear, cosmetics, and electronics. It is not WEM in scale, but it avoids the west-end traffic nightmare. For residents of Oliver, downtown, and the north side, Kingsway is the pragmatic mall choice.
What to expect
- Mid-market fashion and footwear retailers.
- Electronics and mobile phone kiosks.
- Cosmetics and beauty counters.
- Renovated food court and dining options.
Getting there
Multiple bus routes serve Kingsway Transit Centre adjacent to the mall. Surface parking is ample compared to downtown or WEM, but the lot fills by late morning on Black Friday.
Black Friday hours
Expected ~8:00 AM – 9:00 PM, confirming late November
FAQ
- What time will Kingsway Mall open on Black Friday?
- We are confirming late November hours with the mall operator. Historically Kingsway opens earlier than regular weekday hours, but 2026 times are not yet published.
- Is Kingsway worth the trip from the south side?
- Only if you live nearby. South-side shoppers are better served by Southgate. Kingsway wins for north-central and downtown residents.
